Tattooing in Oklahoma City since 2008, Derek is an award-winning artist specializing in large-scale black and grey realism and custom, composition-driven work. With nearly two decades of experience, his approach emphasizes strong design, refined detail, and pieces created to complement the natural form of the body.

His work is heavily influenced by the natural world, including animals and botanical subjects, as well as the art and architecture of ancient and classical civilizations. Roman and Greek marble sculpture, mythology, and the dramatic movement and contrast of the Baroque era remain recurring sources of inspiration. While large-scale black and grey work is his primary focus, Derek also welcomes select color pieces and smaller custom designs.
